Introducing Asmos by Klics: A New Approach to Ecommerce Conversion Optimization

Over the past few years, Klics has helped businesses create more engaging digital experiences designed to turn customer attention into action.

Along the way, we started noticing a bigger problem.

Ecommerce brands invest heavily in bringing people to their stores. They run ads, build campaigns, create offers, and continuously work to increase traffic.

But once that traffic arrives, improving what actually converts visitors into customers is still often based on guesswork, occasional A/B tests, and manual changes.

We believed there was a better way.

Today, we're introducing Asmos by Klics — an autonomous ecommerce conversion optimization platform designed to continuously understand, test, and improve what helps visitors convert.

What We Learned From Building Klics

Klics started with a simple idea: make digital experiences more interactive and give businesses new ways to engage their audiences.

Working with brands gave us a close look at what happens after a campaign goes live.

Creating an experience is only the beginning.

The harder questions come afterward:

Which version performs better?

Why are visitors leaving?

Which offer should a store show?

Does changing the headline actually improve conversions?

Which design works for mobile visitors?

And most importantly: what should we change next?

Businesses have access to more data than ever, but turning that data into continuous improvements still requires significant time, expertise, and manual work.

That insight became the foundation for Asmos.

From Creating Experiences to Continuously Improving Them

Asmos is built around a simple principle:

Conversion optimization shouldn't stop after an experiment ends.

Instead of treating optimization as a collection of isolated A/B tests, Asmos is designed to create an ongoing improvement cycle.

The platform can analyze an ecommerce store, understand its existing experience and brand, generate conversion-focused variations, test them with real visitors, identify stronger performers, and use what it learns to inform future experiments.

The goal is to move from:

Guess → build → test occasionally

to:

Analyze → create → test → learn → improve → repeat

with significantly less manual work.

How Asmos Works

Asmos brings multiple parts of the conversion optimization process into one system.

1. Understand the Store

Asmos analyzes a store's existing experience, branding, products, and conversion opportunities.

This gives the platform context before recommending or creating anything.

2. Create Experiences

Stores can generate onsite experiences such as popups designed around specific conversion goals, offers, audiences, and triggers.

Instead of starting every experiment from scratch, Asmos helps produce multiple relevant variations that remain aligned with the store.

3. Test Different Approaches

Rather than relying on a single design or message, Asmos can test multiple approaches against each other with real store traffic.

Different layouts, messaging, offers, calls to action, and other elements can be compared based on actual visitor behavior.

4. Learn What Works

As experiments collect data, Asmos identifies which variations perform better and which should be removed from testing.

The objective isn't simply to declare a winner.

It's to understand why certain approaches work better for a particular store and audience.

5. Keep Improving

Those learnings become context for future experiments.

Over time, optimization becomes a continuous process rather than something a team has to repeatedly restart from zero.

Why We Built Asmos as a Separate Product

Klics and Asmos share the same focus on helping businesses improve customer experiences, but they solve different problems.

Klics helps businesses create interactive experiences and campaigns that drive engagement and action.

Asmos focuses specifically on ecommerce conversion optimization — understanding what happens after visitors arrive and continuously improving the experiences designed to convert them.

Building Asmos separately allows us to go much deeper into ecommerce-specific problems, integrations, experimentation, analytics, and autonomous optimization.

It also allows everything we learned through Klics to become the starting point rather than the finish line.

Traffic Is Only Half the Equation

Ecommerce marketing often focuses on acquiring more visitors.

And acquisition obviously matters.

But increasing traffic without improving conversion means continuously sending more people through the same experience.

Sometimes the biggest opportunity isn't another traffic source.

It's understanding what prevents the people already visiting your store from taking the next step.

That's the problem we want Asmos to help solve.

What Comes Next

Asmos is starting with Shopify stores and onsite conversion experiences, with a particular focus on making experimentation and optimization dramatically easier to run.

We're continuing to develop the platform alongside ecommerce businesses and using real-world experiments to improve how Asmos analyzes stores, generates experiences, and learns from visitor behavior.

For Klics, this is also an important next chapter.

What started with helping brands create more engaging experiences has evolved into a broader question:

Can software continuously learn what makes customers convert — and automatically use those learnings to make the next experience better?

That's what we're building with Asmos.
